MIAMI 31 March 2014 – Hogan Lovells today announced that Allen Pegg has re-joined the firm’s Miami office as counsel in its Litigation practice. Pegg formerly served as an associate from 2002-2006.
Pegg’s practice focuses on state and federal complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and appellate work. He has also advised on a variety of transactional matters for his clients, giving him a unique strategic insight into the issues facing them in litigation matters.
“Allen brings to us a wealth of complex litigation and arbitration experience to add to our leading litigation and arbitration practices,” said Miami office managing partner Richard Lorenzo. “We are thrilled to welcome him back to our Miami office.”
Pegg’s arrival bolsters both the growing Miami office as well as the firm’s world-class Litigation and Arbitration practice, recently ranked a Chambers Global Band One firm for Dispute Resolution. He brings experience in contract disputes, business torts, legal malpractice defense, employment litigation, class-action defense, shareholder derivative actions, shareholder and partnership disputes, and matters involving commercial and residential real estate.
“It is with great pleasure that I re-join my former colleagues at the Miami office of Hogan Lovells,” said Pegg. “I am excited to bring my skills and experience to the firm’s established top-tier global Litigation practice.”
Pegg received his J.D. magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center where he was Executive Editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College, receiving his B.A. with a double major in English and Spanish.
