Hogan Lovells advises Generali on the strategic repositioning of the German Group
Led by Düsseldorf partner Birgit Reese, Hogan Lovells advises Generali on the restructuring of the German Generali Group headed by Giovanni Liverani.
In the course of this transformation a new property insurer, Dialog Versicherung AG, was founded to which the independent distribution partners (e.g. brokers or multiple agents) and the insurance portfolios of Generali Versicherung AG distributed by these partners were transferred by way of spin-off. Subsequently, Generali Versicherung AG was merged into AachenMünchener Versicherung AG which was then renamed Generali Deutschland Versicherung AG.
"We are very pleased to be able to support Generali in this important transformation process", said Birgit Reese.
