Hogan Lovells advises Danfoss on the acquisition of Eaton's hydraulic business

Led by Hamburg partner Andreas H. Meyer, international law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Danish Danfoss A/S on the acquisition of the hydraulics business of the Eaton Corporation. The transaction volume amounts to approximately EUR 3 billion.

This marks the largest acquisition in the history of Danfoss. With this transaction, Danfoss will increase its size by one-third and double the capacities of its core hydraulic business.

The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Hogan Lovells has advised Danfoss on all legal aspects of the German part of the hydraulic business. US law firm Winston & Strawn was responsible for the worldwide coordination of the transaction.
