Hogan Lovells advises BNP PARIBAS and Deutsche Bank on a EUR 76.5 million capital increase of Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA

Press releases | 24 April 2020

Led by Frankfurt-based partner Michael Schlitt, Hogan Lovells advised BNP PARIBAS S.A. and Deutsche Bank AG as Joint Global Coordinators on the placement with institutional investors, by way of an accelerated bookbuilding, of 1.0 million additional new bearer preferred shares of Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA, a leading international medical and safety technology company, at a placing price of EUR 76.50 per new share.

HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG acted as Joint Bookrunner and Bankhaus Lampe KG as Co-Manager. The Dräger family participated in the capital increase via the Chairman of the Executive Board, Stefan Dräger, and Dr. Heinrich Dräger GmbH. The new shares were admitted to listing and trading on April 24, 2020 on the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, with simultaneous admission to the sub-segment of the regulated market with additional admission obligations (Prime Standard). The net issue proceeds from the capital increase are intended, among other things, to strengthen the equity base in view of the high order intake in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
