Hogan Lovells Awarded Accolades for Engaging Women by Opportunity Now and The Times Top 50 Employers For Women 2015

22 April 2015

22 April 2015 - Hogan Lovells has been recognised in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list 2015, published today. This follows success last night when Hogan Lovells was awarded the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Award in the Engaging Women category.

The Times Top 50 Employers for Women is the definitive list of top employers for women in the UK, recognising organisations who have demonstrated that diversity and equality are an integral part of their business strategy.

The survey, conducted every year, is run in partnership with Opportunity Now, the gender equality campaign from Business in the Community, which promotes gender equality in business based on their internal action, external commitment and best practice.

Now in their 20th year, the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards recognise and celebrate the public and private sector organisations that are leading the way in creating workplaces that work for women through best practice, innovation and individual achievement.

Hogan Lovells was awarded the Engaging Women Award for its cohesive programme of Pro Bono, Community Investment and Diversity initiatives to engage women globally; recognised as a programme which strategically engages with women in the delivery of business and service objectives.

Commenting on these achievements, Ruth Grant, co-chair of Hogan Lovells Diversity Committee, said:
"Winning the Opportunity Now Excellence in Practice Awards in the Engaging Women Award category and ranking in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women for the fourth time are fantastic achievements and welcome recognition of our commitment to diversity in the workplace.

"In making diversity a core business priority we are at the forefront of driving change as part of our strategy to create and maintain an inclusive working environment for our people".

Hogan Lovells is one of eight law firms to be included in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015.  This recognition follows several recent achievements in the corporate diversity area for Hogan Lovells which include:
