Hogan Lovells Australian Partner James Wood recognised as a future leader in Private Equity International’s Future 40 list

Sydney - James Wood, partner in Hogan Lovells Corporate practice team in Sydney, has been named in Private Equity International’s Future 40 Leaders of Private Equity list. The ranking recognises the future leaders set to shape the private equity sector over the next decade as voted for by their peers.

James, an investment funds specialist who joined Hogan Lovells in 2019, advises on a broad range of funds related matters including syndicate arrangements, club-style deals, private equity and credit fund establishment, investment in private equity funds, private equity secondaries and carried interest and co-investment arrangements. Over the years, he has advised on the establishment of some of the largest and successful private equity funds globally, such as Blackstone, CVC Capital Partners, Actis, Apax Partners, BlackRock, amongst others. He has also developed a following in the special situations and private credit space, which continues to grow. He is known for his technical excellence, commercial acumen and depth of experience in raising international capital.
