Hogan Lovells appoints Australian partner as global head of mining sector

Perth, 3 September 2019 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that Australian corporate partner, Matthew Johnson, has been appointed as Global Head of the firm's Mining Sector.

Based in the Perth office, Matthew is well-regarded amongst clients and colleagues for his broad Australian and global transactional and advisory experience, specifically in the mining and natural resources sector.

He has an impressive deal list, advising bidders, targets and financiers in respect of public and private M&A transactions, domestic and international equity and debt capital raisings, and including alternative finance for project development and expansion.
