Hogan Lovells Advising on US$2.3 Billion IPO of Paramount Group, Inc.

WASHINGTON, D.C. 19 November 2014 – Hogan Lovells is proud to announce it is advising the underwriters in connection with the high-profile initial public offering (IPO) of Paramount Group, Inc., owner of premier office buildings in New York, Washington, D.C., and San Francisco.

The US$2.3 billion transaction is the largest real estate investment trust (REIT) IPO in history. Hogan Lovells is acting as underwriters’ counsel to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo Securities, and Deutsche Bank Securities.

Hogan Lovells has now advised on the three largest REIT IPOs in history – last year, the firm advised Goldman Sachs & Co. and Bank of America Merrill Lynch on the US$1.1 billion IPO of the Empire State Realty Trust and in 2006, served as co-counsel to Douglas Emmett Inc. on its US$1.6 billion REIT IPO.
