Milan, 4 December 2020 – International law firm Hogan Lovells has advised FS Italiane on the private placement of a €250 million 10-year bond issued under its EMTN Programme and listed on Euronext Dublin.

The bond has been issued at par at a 0.641% rate, which is the lowest fixed coupon paid by FS for an EMTN bond issue on the capital market and the proceeds from the placement will be entirely allocated to railway infrastructure investments.

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti subscribed the bond thus confirming its strategic role alongside Italian companies in contributing, particularly in this period, to the Country's process for sustainable development, through investments in modern and safe infrastructures that will promote Italy's recovery.

The issue was managed by Credit Agricole CIB as Sole Bookrunner.

The Italian team of Hogan Lovells lawyers who worked on the matter included: capital markets partner Federico Del Monte, counsel Annalisa Feliciani and associates Matteo Scuriatti and Alessandro Azzolini.
