Hogan Lovells advises on Patron Capital Partners' disposal of Punch Pubs & Co to Fortress Investment Group

London, 15 December 2021 – Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Patron Capital Partners (“Patron”), on the sale of Vine Acquisitions Limited  (“Punch Pubs & Co”), a leading owner of approximately 1,300 tenanted pubs in the UK, to private equity firm Fortress Investment Group. 

Patron, the pan-European institutional investor focused on property backed investments, initially acquired Punch in August 2017 alongside May Capital. 

The Hogan Lovells team was led by London-based Corporate & Finance partner John Connell with support from senior associate Anthony Doolittle. Partner Faye Jarvis advised on pension aspects, partner Karen Hughes and senior associate Tom Eyre-Brook advised on tax aspects, and partner Fiona Bantock advised counsel on ESI.
