Hogan Lovells Advises on Major South Bank Planning Applications

LONDON, 18 January 2013 - Hogan Lovells' London planning team is advising on the redevelopment proposals for the Shell Centre. The various planning applications for the scheme were submitted to the London Borough of Lambeth on 13 December 2012.
Hogan Lovells is advising Braeburn Estates Limited, a joint venture between Canary Wharf Group and Qatari Diar, on its redevelopment proposals for the Shell Centre. The scheme comprises 500,000 sq ft of new offices, 800,000 sq ft of residential, and up to 80,000 sq ft of retail and leisure to be located within eight new buildings. The locally listed Shell Tower will be retained and incorporated into the redevelopment proposals as part of Shell International Petroleum Limited's UK headquarters.
The Hogan Lovells team was led by Head of Planning Michael Gallimore, supported by senior associate Victoria Du Croz.
