Hogan Lovells Advises on AIB's First Public Prime UK RMBS

LONDON, 17 May 2012 - Hogan Lovells advised BofA Merrill Lynch, as Arranger and Joint Lead Manager, and HSBC, as Joint Lead Manager, on a £438 million securitization of residential mortgage loans originated by AIB Group (UK) p.l.c. (AIB). 

The Hogan Lovells deal team advising was led by capital markets partner Julian Craughan and Of Counsel Marc Mouton.  Partners Philip Harle advised on tax and Roger Tym on regulatory matters.

Commenting on the transaction, Julian Craughan said:
