Hogan Lovells advises limehome in 45 million euros funding round

11 November, 2022 – Led by Munich senior associates Thiemo Woertge and Jan Fürbaß, global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised limehome, the leading technology-based provider and operator of serviced apartments in Europe, on a funding round of 45 million euros in new growth capital including a venture loan facility. Alongside existing investors HV Capital, Picus Capital, and Lakestar, first-time investors AW Rostamani Group and Capital Four are also taking a stake in the start-up.

The Munich-based company intends to use the additional capital primarily for expansion. In addition to further organic growth, part of the capital will fund acquisitions of existing operators, where limehome achieved significant performance increases in the past. limehome will continue to enhance scalability and high service levels through further development of its proprietary technology platform.

Since its founding in 2018, limehome has expanded to over 100 locations and signed up more than 3,000 apartments in seven countries.

Hogan Lovells has advised limehome on all equity and venture debt financings since its inception, including providing comprehensive advice on the negotiations in this latest financing round and the venture debt facility as well as its implementation in Germany and Spain.
