Hogan Lovells Advises Labelux on Acquisition of Jimmy Choo

LONDON, 23 May 2011 - Hogan Lovells has advised luxury goods group Labelux on the acquisition of UK retailer Jimmy Choo from private equity house TowerBrook Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum. The deal was announced yesterday, Sunday 22 May and is expected to complete in late June.
Labelux, which was established in 2007, already owns fashion brands including Bally, Derek Lam, Solange Azagury-Partridge and Zagliani.
The Hogan Lovells team advising Labelux was led by London corporate partner Frances Le Grys, assisted by Alex McPherson and Kate Pumphrey. London financing partner Stuart Brinkworth, assisted by Vicky Carr and Louise Coffey, advised on the financing aspects of the transaction. Louise Whitewright (partner) and Kiran Khetia (associate) advised on arrangements relating to the management team and additional advice was provided by Labelux client partner Antonio Di Pasquale and corporate partner Leah Dunlop, both based in Rome.
