5 November 2020 – International law firm Hogan Lovells has advised Dana Incorporated on the European and China aspects of its purchase of a portion of the thermal-management business of Modine Manufacturing Company's automotive segment.This acquisition includes eight major facilities with operations in China, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States.
The deal is subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, and is expected to be completed in the first half of 2021. The portion of the business subject matter of the transaction, which extends Dana’s offering in thermal management and manufacturing process capabilities, will be consolidated within Dana's Power Technologies segment.
The Hogan Lovells cross border team was led by the Italian Corporate M&A practice with support from Hogan Lovells’ teams in Germany, Netherlands, China and the affiliated Hungarian office.
