Hogan Lovells advise MicroVention Europe on the acquisition of ImpleMed Italia
Global law firm Hogan Lovells has advised MicroVention Europe, a French subsidiary of Terumo Corporation, on the acquisition of ImpleMed Italia, an Italian company active in the distribution of biomedical products.
This transaction strengthens MicroVention Europe presence in Italy by internalizing the distributor of its products within the Italian market.
The cross practice team was led by Italy managing partner Luca Picone, with support from associate Martino Filippi and trainee Gianluca Ceci. The Employment matters were dealt with by Vittorio Moresco and senior associate Fabrizio Grillo, and the compliance matters were dealt with by counsel Giuseppe Aminzade.
Accuracy has been involved in the Business Plan preparation and both the financial and compliance due-diligence. The team comprised of Italy managing partner Giovanni Foti, Silvia Baroffio (Principal), Matteo Scordo, and Eugenia Falco (Managers) and Roberto Crotta (Senior Associate).
The sellers were assisted by Glauco Valerio Briante, founding partner of Studio Legale Briante in Genoa.
