Hogan Lovells hosts M&A roadshow in China

Beijing, Shanghai, 26 October 2018 – Hogan Lovells held its first M&A Insights series in China, with events on 23 October and 25 October in Shanghai and Beijing respectively. During the forums, over 80 speakers, business and industry executives, and legal counsels had the opportunity to identify and discuss the challenges and opportunities for Chinese companies investing overseas.

Titled “Where is the way out for overseas M&A in the context of emerging regulations?”, the events provided great insights and practice tips on (i) the new national security and foreign investment regimes in the U.S., the UK, Germany and Russia; (ii) industry analysis in M&A transactions; and (iii) key clauses and new trends in M&A transactions in these countries.

Hogan Lovells lawyers speaking at the event included Keith Flaum (Silicon Valley); Brian Curran (Washington, D.C.); Daniel Dehghanian (Dusseldorf); Maria Baeva (Moscow); Jun Wei (Beijing); Liang Xu (Beijing); Lu Zhou (Beijing); Andrew McGinty (Shanghai); and Shengzhe Wang (Shanghai). The Beijing event also welcomed special guest speaker Zilong Wang, Head of M&A and Managing Director of CICC, to provide an overview of the M&A trends in different industry sectors.
