Chambers USA Honors Hogan Lovells’ International Trade and Investment Group with 2012 Award for Excellence

WASHINGTON, D.C., 11 June 2012 – Hogan Lovells announced today that its International Trade and Investment group has been recognized by Chambers USA with the 2012 Award for Excellence in International Trade. Hogan Lovells was chosen for this award from a shortlist of seven finalists selected by Chambers USA.
“We are honored that our International Trade practice has been recognized with this prestigious award,” said Beth Peters, a Director of Hogan Lovells’ International Trade and Investment group.
“This recognition speaks to the strength of our team, and is an excellent reflection of the complex, collaborative work we do across Hogan Lovells’ international platform,” said Deen Kaplan, a Director of Hogan Lovells’ International Trade and Investment group.
Hogan Lovells was ranked in Band 1 in this year’s Chambers USA for international trade nationally, and partners Jeanne Archibald, Deen Kaplan, Lewis Leibowitz, Mark McConnell, and Beth Peters were ranked individually.
The 2012 Chambers USA Awards were held on 7 June 2012 in New York. The legal directory honored outstanding legal practices on the basis of research carried out for 2012 Chambers USA. The awards recognize law firms’ preeminence in key practice areas. They also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months, including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth, and excellence in client service.
In addition to being honored with Chambers' Award for Excellence in International Trade, 69 Hogan Lovells practice areas and 125 of its lawyers were recognized in the 2012 Chambers USA guide.
The Chambers USA annual guide ranks lawyers and law firms based on in-depth interviews with attorneys, clients, and corporate counsel in the United States.
