Bendita Cynthia Malakia appointed to Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession Advisory Board

Washington, D.C., 31 August 2021 – Hogan Lovells’ Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, Bendita Cynthia Malakia, has been appointed as an Advisory Board member of the Institute for Inclusion in the Legal Profession (IILP).

Bendita’s responsibilities as an IILP Advisory Board member, which comprises representatives across the legal profession, will involve providing insight and innovative ideas and insights that help eliminate bias and identify obstacles to inclusion.

Bendita currently leads Hogan Lovells' global diversity, equity and inclusion  strategy with the aim of ensuring that historically underrepresented professionals can thrive. Bendita's thought leadership and advocacy extend to being a prolific writer and speaker on DEI in the workplace.

Commenting on her appointment, Bendita said: “IILP is a cornerstone of the legal diversity industry providing research, accountability, thought leadership and innovative programming that leads to meaningful change. I am delighted to help IILP continue its transformational legacy.”
