Banking Finance Team Hire for Hogan Lovells in South Africa

SANDTON, JOHANNESBURG – 26 February 2014 - Anina Boshoff, a finance partner at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, is joining Hogan Lovells in South Africa on 1 March 2014 to head up the firm's banking and finance department in Johannesburg.  Also joining from Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs are associates, Candice Morgan and Sanrie van Tonder.

Anina is admitted in South Africa and England & Wales and is recognised as a leading banking and finance lawyer in the market. She has extensive experience in local and cross-border transactional work. She returned to South Africa early in 2010 after working in the Singapore office of Allen & Overy for three years.

More recently, at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, Anina's practice has focused on advising both funders (including offshore banks and development finance institutions) and corporates on finance and restructuring transactions in Sub-Saharan Africa.  She has been involved in transactions in a variety of sectors, including media, mining and energy.
