Representative experience

Advised a major MENA-based technology focused private equity investment firm on negotiating and drafting commercial contracts with industry partners.

Advised a MENA-based technology focused private equity investment firm on its venture capital investment in a Dubai based startup in the media sector.

Advised one of MENA’s premier private equity firms in a number of ongoing venture capital investments in the technology sector, including in consumer retailing websites and internet-based businesses.

Advised a major American defense company in a proposed joint venture with a major Turkish military hardware manufacturer for the production of advanced weaponry technology.

Advised NMC Healthcare, the UAE’s largest private health care provider on the 70 percent acquisition of As Salama, a major hospital operator in Saudi Arabia.

Advised Katara Hospitality, the Qatar-based global owner, developer, and operator of hotels, on the acquisition of five luxury InterContinental properties in key European cities.

Advised on the US$5.3 billion sale of stakes in three companies by Barwa Real Estate Company Q.S.C. to a subsidiary of Qatari Diar, the Qatari state-owned real estate investment company, subsequently awarded "Domestic M&A Deal of the Year" by IFLR.
