Jamaal Myers

A senior associate in our New York office, Jamaal Myers advises clients in the insurance, media, technology, and consumer industries on a range of securities and corporate governance matters.

Having been educated in Canada, London, and New York, Jamaal brings a global perspective and collaborative approach as he helps clients navigate their way through complex governance issues. He regularly counsels boards of directors on SEC reporting and filing requirements, stock exchange listing requirements, and compliance with U.S. securities law. He also maintains an active pro bono practice and is involved in the firm’s diversity initiatives, having been a New York City Bar Diversity Fellow in 2011.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Jamaal was a capital markets associate at another international law firm. Before law school, he worked at The Law Society of Upper Canada, where his research led to substantial reforms in the legal apprenticeship process in Ontario.
