Aurora joined Hogan Lovells in July 2019, after an in-house experience in the antitrust unit of a leading energy company. She was previously an associate in the antitrust department of major national and international law firms.

Aurora graduated with honours from the State University of Siena in 2006. She holds a LL.M from the College of Europe (2010) and a Ph.D. from the Bocconi University (2017). 

Her practice focuses on European and Italian antitrust law, unfair commercial practices and abuse of economic dependence where she assisted companies in a wide range of sectors.

Representative experience

Assisting major energy companies in merger control activities including in filing to competition authorities in several jurisdictions (e.g. EU, China, South Korea).

Assisting multinational pharmaceutical company in the context of an Italian investigation on alleged violation of art. 101 TFEU.

Advising a waste management company in its defence in the context of an Italian proceeding for alleged abuse of dominant position.
Assisting two pasta maker companies in the appeals against a decision of the Italian Competition Authority in a cartel case.

Assisting leniency applicants in the submission of the leniency application as well as in the course of the proceedings before the Italian Competition Authority.
