Chris is a senior associate in our Business Restructuring and Insolvency team in Australia with over seven years' experience from premier law firms in Sydney.
Chris assists banks, funds, specialist financiers, corporate clients, insolvency practitioners, and trustee companies in relation to formal insolvency appointments, restructures and workouts. Chris also has expertise in financial services litigation, general commercial litigation, financial services regulation and export sanctions and controls.
Chris is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) and achieved the highest rank in Australia in ARITA's Advanced Insolvency course.
Chris has also been a strong advocate of pro bono work throughout his career, and has advised a number of corporations and individuals in relation to regulatory issues, debt collection, bankruptcy, and general litigation.

Advising Revelstoke Capital Partners and its investment, Career Step (US-based online educator) on financial distress issues attached to the provider of its education platform in Australia.
Advising a global real estate and infrastructure investor on a shareholder dispute, director liability claims, and winding up proceedings.
Advising the external administrators of companies across a range of industries on various restructuring, insolvency, and director liability issues.
Advising various secured lenders on enforcement of security and related claims against borrowers, guarantors and third parties.
