Enrique Molina is an effective, efficient, and results-oriented problem solver who represents clients in administered and ad hoc investment treaty arbitrations, international commercial arbitrations, and international disputes before U.S. courts.

Having acted as counsel in more than 25 matters, Enrique is experienced in all phases of international arbitration. Enrique also counsels and represents clients in award enforcement and recognition proceedings under the New York Convention and the Federal Arbitration Act.

Enrique regularly represents clients in arbitrations before all major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, ICSID, ICDR, AAA, LCIA, and SCC as well as ad hoc arbitrations, such as under the UNCITRAL Rules. His experience ranges across industries, including mining, oil and gas, hospitality, banking and finance, air transportation, infrastructure, renewable energy, and telecommunications, among others. Throughout his career, Enrique has counseled clients in some of the largest international arbitrations on record. He is particularly well-versed in procedural and jurisdictional issues, and has substantial experience in ICSID annulment proceedings. Enrique also assists clients in avoiding disputes altogether, and settling disputes when possible.

While in law school, Enrique was Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Journal of International Law. In addition, he served as a summer associate with the Public International Law and Policy Group, a certified student attorney with the International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic, and a member of Stanford Law School's Iraq Legal Education Initiative. Enrique is from Puebla, Mexico.

Represented British investors in a multibillion dollar arbitration pertaining to an iron ore project in Uruguay, arising under the UK-Uruguay Bilateral Investment Treaty*

Represented six oil majors in a Singapore-seated price review arbitration, governed by the UNCITRAL Rules and arising out of a liquid natural gas sale and purchase agreement*

Represented Mexican investors in an arbitration pertaining to the resolution and sale of Banco Popular Español, arising under the Mexico-Spain Bilateral Investment Treaty*

Represented an international pulp company in a Brazil-seated ICC arbitration arising from the failure to close a transaction in accordance with the terms of a share purchase agreement*
