Over the past 16 years, Miranda Berge has played a leading role in defending high-stakes class action and complex litigation matters in federal and state courts throughout the United States.

Miranda has particular experience in ERISA, antitrust, RICO, and regulatory disputes related to the health insurance industry. She regularly acts as counsel on behalf of health care insurers in cases regarding claims payment disputes brought by providers and subscribers, provider contracting, and coverage determinations. Her experience also includes representation of food companies in a number of nationwide consumer protection class actions.

Miranda has successfully represented clients in matters relating to these topics, obtaining dismissal with prejudice, denial of class certification, and summary judgment in cases involving a broad range of legal theories, including RICO, ERISA, Medicare Secondary Payer Statute, the Sherman Act, and various state-law theories. In other cases, she has worked to craft early favorable settlements and creative business solutions to address risk and accomplish the business objectives of her clients.
