Helen McGowan is a member of the Hogan Lovells Commercial and FinTech teams and has extensive experience advising clients on a range of commercial and regulatory matters. 

Helen supports her clients in structuring and negotiating complex commercial transactions, and has particular experience advising on multi-jurisdictional arrangements including outsourcings, procurement, supply and distribution contracts, joint ventures and partnerships. Helen also advises on the commercial aspects of corporate matters including private M&A transactions.

Helen has broad industry experience including e-commerce, finance and insurance, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, and the professional services sector, with particular focus on technology contracts and related matters within those sectors. Her key clients include Amazon, Brown-Forman, McKinsey & Company, Inc., AXA, Ford Credit Europe and Mars.

Amazon with respect to the restructuring of its European procurement arrangements for supplies of business critical equipment and services.

Brown-Forman with respect to the design and build of an e-commerce sales channel, including drafting and negotiating outsourced fulfilment contracts and associated regulatory advice.
