Matthew Ryan Kapitanyan

Matt Kapitanyan advises clients primarily on corporate and business matters. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Matt focused his practice on advising debtors, creditors, equity holders, investors, and other interested parties in all aspects of distressed situations and corporate restructurings, including business and legal matters involving crisis management and corporate governance issues.

In addition to his corporate practice, Matt is also committed to pro bono work, and he has been recognized for his service. He has counseled a wide range of pro bono clients in areas such as employment law, asylum relief, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit corporate governance.

During law school, Matt gained valuable experience interning for a New York federal court and the New York County District Attorney's Office, where he assisted with the investigation and prosecution of cybercrime and identity theft crimes.
