Matt Thomson represents public and private companies in a wide range of transaction, compliance, and governance matters, but he has particularly deep knowledge of the commercial real estate industry.

He's worked with numerous public REITs and real estate funds, guiding them through a variety of governance matters, strategic mergers, going-private transactions, IPOs, REIT formation and "roll up" transactions, joint venture structuring, and other strategic and capital-raising transactions.

But Matt's experience extends far beyond real estate. He's worked closely with a considerable number of companies as they navigated through mergers and acquisitions (public and private), joint ventures, public securities offerings, and private equity financings, to achieve successful results. He also routinely advises companies and their boards on general business issues and corporate governance, securities law, and SEC and NYSE compliance matters.
