Mateo Domecq

As an associate in the Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) practice, Mateo focuses on European competition law. Mateo advises on all aspects of competition law, including: cartels, mergers, abuse of dominant position and the interface between intellectual property rights and competition law. He has worked on a number of international transactions requiring both European and non-European merger filings.

Mateo has also been involved in several cartel cases both before the European Commission and the General Court. Some of the cartel cases on which Mateo has worked have involved coordinating the defence to parallel investigations in multiple jurisdictions.
