Maria Sedykh

Maria has an excellent track record for handling various IP, regulatory, advertising and commercial law issues for top global pharmaceutical, media, finance and internet  companies.

Her experience includes representing clients in a variety of intellectual property and technology matters with a focus on the IP aspects of M&A and other corporate and commercial transactions (share and asset deals, corporate and commercial JVs). Her practice focuses on intellectual property (licensing, franchising, and assignment), information technology, media, life sciences and data privacy issues. Maria regularly represents both national and multinational businesses with cross-border interests. 

Her client list is varied and includes international businesses operating in the life sciences, media, IT, consumer, entertainment and financial services industries. Notably, Maria has undertaken a number of secondments to the legal departments of major international pharmaceutical companies in Russia. Maria is an active participant in the market's discussions surrounding the latest developments on data privacy regulations. She has written on data privacy related matters for a range of publications, as well as co-authored the Russian chapter of the Media Law International journal in 2014. In 2014,

Maria was named the 'Rising Star in IP' in Europe by Euromoney's Women in Business Law Awards.
