Financing fuels our clients' growth. Borrowers, financial institutions, and institutional investors rely on Janae Magee for counsel in negotiating and documenting commercial real estate financing facilities, including construction and permanent financing, real estate portfolio transactions, acquisition financing, and mortgage loans.

Janae's prior experience with senior and mezzanine credit facilities, as well as asset-based lending, provides insight for broader financing transactions where real estate is part of a larger collateral package. Janae's early experience in the health care industry has expanded to include a broad range of real property types, including industrial, office, retail, mixed-use condominium, multifamily, hospitality, restaurant, and medical office buildings.

Janae works with REIT borrowers with various subsidiary structures on their financing matters. With a business-centered approach and balanced negotiating style, Janae works closely with each client to determine their business objectives, and provide advice and counsel to accomplish each client's goals.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Janae handled real estate finance transactions at a regional firm in Nashville, Tennessee and an international firm with an office in Boulder, Colorado. She also has her paralegal certificate from the University of San Diego and worked as a paralegal prior to and during law school.
