Lukas Ströbel advises national and international clients on data privacy issues, compliance and employment law. He concentrates on advising corporates in implementing structures, processes and policies required by the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and on issues with regard to cross-border data transfers. He has furthermore extensive experience in drafting IT and data protection related works council agreements.

Lukas regularly publishes articles on data privacy issues and on legal aspects of implementing the GDPR in companies. Before Lukas joined Hogan Lovells, he was part of the Research Training Group "Privacy" at the University of Passau. He earned his Ph.D. in law with a thesis about the right to privacy of criminals in the internet.
