Based out of Tokyo and having previously worked in London, Singapore and Dubai, Lucy Harrison understands the international context in which the firm's clients operate. Her confident and outgoing nature allows her to engage with clients to achieve the best results at any stage in the business lifecycle.

Lucy has particular strengths in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and general commercial matters. She regularly works with private equity houses and their portfolio companies across a range of industries as diverse as aerospace & engineering, luxury fashion and life sciences, and is able to apply her knowledge broadly. Her commitment and attention to detail make her a key member of the team.

Lucy also plays an active part in the firm's pro bono and citizenship activities, and has advised a number of charities and start-ups on issues including: company structure and formation; licensing requirements for specific activities; documenting investor and shareholder relations; fundraising and general charity law.

Lucy read English at University College London, which developed her aptitude for writing and creative problem solving. She later studied law in London, qualifying as a solicitor of England & Wales.

Advising a French luxury fashion house on the establishment of a joint venture and related business arrangements in Qatar including shareholder rights exit provisions.

Advising an Italian menswear couture house on its franchise arrangements in the UAE (seconded to Dubai).

Advising Navis Capital Partners on the sale of ECO Industrial Environmental Engineering, a hazardous waste management company, to Beijing Capital Group for S$246m.

Managing a number of global due diligence exercises in the education and IT sectors.

Advising Navis Capital Partners on its acquisition of a controlling stake in ISA Industrial Limited, an eco-friendly leather manufacturer.

Advising Dell on its restructuring and employment law arrangements in connection with the sale of its IT services division to NTT Data.
