As a senior associate in Hogan Lovells' banking department in Paris, Louis-Jerome Laisney focuses his practice on acquisition finance and project finance. He brings extensive experience on LBO transactions as well as project finance, trade finance, export finance and asset finance, in particular in Africa. He assists major French and foreign banks (including multilateral development institutions) in their capacity as agents, arrangers and lenders.

Advising a major French bank in connection with the 120 MEUR acquisition financing of the Interflora group.

Advising AfreximBank in relation to various construction and tourism-linked transactions in relation to hotel construction or refurbishment in Ivory Coast, Gabon and Mali.

Advising Banque Atlantique – Côte d'Ivoire in connection with 40 MEUR relay facility financing preliminary works for construction of Abidjan urban and suburban railway.

Advising major French banks in relation to 775 MEUR credit facilities in favour of Axéréal.

Advising a major French bank in relation to a €500m uncommitted export facility agreement to a sovereign borrower.

Advising a major French bank in relation to a MEUR150 borrowing base financing governed by French law to a nickel producer.

Advising a pool of international lenders for the financing of a petroleum vessel (floating & storage offloading) in Cameroon.
