Ray Li draws on his wealth of experience in the education sector to provide clients with creative solutions in education law and policy.

Ray has spent substantial time working with government, nonprofit, and private sector education organizations. He gained valuable experience in education policy as an intern for the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division's Educational Opportunities Section; the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions; the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and a U.S. senator. Ray also interned for the Duke University Undergraduate Admissions Office, which allowed him to view education law from a university's perspective.

Ray studied public policy and education at Duke University, where he served as a student member of the Duke Board of Trustees and student government vice president. At Stanford, Ray completed a joint degree in law and education. While in law school, he served as managing editor of the Stanford Law and Policy Review, Stanford Law Association's academic affairs co-chair, and a graduation class marshal. He represented clients in special education matters and worked on education civil rights litigation as part of the Stanford Youth and Education Law Project.
