Recognised as 'a proactive and very approachable lawyer' in the Legal 500 2015, Lee Squires leads our UK VAT and indirect tax practice as Head of Indirect Tax (UK).

He has built a strong practice and reputation for contentious and non-contentious VAT work, advising a wide range of clients in a number of industry sectors on transactional, disputes and advisory matters. Lee is a member of the VAT Practitioners' Group and the UK member of the European VAT Club (an association of independent European VAT specialists).

He also writes a monthly column (now in its fifth year) on the latest developments in VAT for the) Tax Journal, one of the leading and most widely-read journals for tax professionals in the UK. He also has experience in advising on a broad range of other corporate and business taxation issues, from corporate, finance and real estate transactions, to international tax structuring and group reorganisations.
