Anna Leah Tabios Hillebrecht helps clients navigate major international infrastructure and energy projects.

Leah closely works with stakeholders on all development stages of the project cycle, dispute avoidance measures, and dispute resolution. Her advise centers on the development and negotiation of construction and engineering conditions for offshore and onshore wind parks and likewise encompasses solar PV, airports, nuclear decommissioning and other complex facilities. 

Leah completed her doctoral degree at the University of Munich, Germany with a dissertation examining intergenerational implications in the current nuclear law framework and environmental principles. She holds a master's degree in international economic and business law from Kyushu University in Japan. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Leah was an associate in the Dispute Resolution (International Arbitration Group) and Major Project teams of a Magic Circle law firm and thereafter a senior associate in the Renewable Energy and Corporate M&A teams of a leading German law firm.

Comprehensive advice to an international developer on the tender of EPCI contracts for offshore and onshore installations for an offshore wind farm with a planned capacity of up to 1.2 GW in Poland.

Advising a project company on the tender of service (O&M), operations management, and crossing and proximity contracts for an offshore wind farm with a planned capacity of more than 900MW in Poland.

Comprehensive advice to a project company on the development of a 1,044 MW offshore wind farm in East Asia incl. on turbine, BoPI, offshore substation, and fabrication supply agreements.

Advising an international developer on a cable-laying contract for an offshore wind farm with a planned capacity of up 350 MW in Poland.

Advising an asset manager on the development (incl. drafting and negotiation) of project contracts for onshore wind farms in Finland and Sweden.*

Comprehensive advice to a global energy group on the development of subcontracts for the service and maintenance of a German offshore wind farm.* 

Advising a Japanese energy and infrastructure investment company on a 40% stake acquisition in a German asset company with significant holdings in the renewable energy and infrastructure sector.*

Advising an employer on an EPC contract involving the decomissioning of nuclear facilities in Europe.*

Advising a leading German transport company on the development of design and construction agreements for a set of airports in Europe.*

Advising (incl. drafting and negotiation) a global pharma company on its construction contract package in relation to its facilities development plan in 49 countries.*
