Erik Lampmann's practice spans the complex and diverse privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection challenges facing businesses today. He first joined the firm as a summer associate in Washington, D.C. and London in 2019.
While in law school, Erik immersed himself in legal and public policy scholarship as the Editor-in-Chief of Penn's Journal of Law & Public Affairs and as a Research Affiliate with the Penn Program on Regulation. He also gained experience in government as a law clerk at the City of Philadelphia Law Department and the Senate Judiciary Committee office of Ranking Member Senator Dianne Feinstein.
Erik is deeply involved in pro bono work at Hogan Lovells. Weeks after joining the firm, he successfully obtained a Civil Protection Order for a domestic violence survivor client in a contested hearing before the District of Columbia Superior Court. Since then, he has continued to represent survivors, while also assisting with immigration and post-conviction matters, as well as civil rights litigation.
