Julia La Manna advises clients in the energy sector in commercial, transactional, regulatory, legislative, and litigation matters. She is motivated to work with clients in this sector because it combines her passions for natural resources and law. She draws on these passions to help clients arrive at a tailored solution for any issue they might face.
While in law school, Julia gained wide-ranging experience as a judicial intern for Judge Anthony Navarro of the Colorado Court of Appeals, a student attorney for the American Indian Law Clinic at the University of Colorado Law School, and a summer associate at Hogan Lovells for two summers. She also served as articles editor for the University of Colorado Law Review and as a Rothgerber Teaching Fellow in civil procedure.
Julia also cares deeply about affecting positive change in the community. Prior to becoming a lawyer, she spent a year as an AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) fellow at the University of California San Francisco Science and Health Education Partnership. In this role, she coordinated a national initiative where mentorship was used to grow underrepresented student access to science, technology, engineering, and math careers.
