Marta Kownacka

Marta's professional practice includes providing legal advice on merger control, antitrust and consumer protection matters, she has successfully taken part in antimonopoly audits and competition compliance projects. In addition, her experience in cases includes the compliance of model contracts with consumer law and the labelling of products. She has assisted senior lawyers in the preparation of antitrust filings to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection and the drafting of documentation within court proceedings. Marta is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration (2014), and the Institute of English Studies at the University of Warsaw (2010).

She represented the Faculty of Law and Administration as an active member of a team composed of four people in the 11th edition of the ELSA Moot Court Competition on the fixed rate system in the WTO and IMF legal systems in Porto (Portugal). She was awarded a one year scholarship with Erasmus LLP at the Universitat de Valencia (Spain).She joined the Competition Law Practice at Hogan Lovells in October 2015. Marta is an advocate trainee at the Warsaw Bar of Advocates.
