Jack Koenig advises clients in complex consumer product and environmental matters. His practice includes litigation, counseling, and administrative advocacy.
Mr. Koenig has extensive experience in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts, with a focus on consumer class actions, environmental disputes, and regulatory challenges.
Mr. Koenig’s consumer product practice includes defending against actions brought under California’s Unfair Competition Law (UCL), False Advertising Law (FAL), and Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA). Mr. Koenig also represents consumer product clients in litigation involving food, drug, and cosmetic claims, alleged product contamination including chemical contamination, and claims under California’s Proposition 65 toxics law.
Mr. Koenig has counseled clients on compliance with a broad range of environmental, health and safety laws, including developing compliance strategies and responding to administrative and civil enforcement actions. Mr. Koenig’s experience includes such areas as hazardous materials regulation, site cleanup, underground storage tank compliance, air quality and climate change regulations, OSHA/CalOSHA standards, and state extended producer responsibility and product stewardship laws.
