Practice Group

Zuzanna Knypinski has been practicing antitrust law since day one of her career. This early exposure proved invaluable in allowing her to gain considerable experience across all facets of antitrust law, including merger review, litigation, government investigations, and counseling.

Zuzanna has managed several second requests, collaborated closely with economic experts, supervised large-scale document productions, drafted numerous agency submissions, and acquired the kind of business acumen necessary to provide her clients with practical advice.

Zuzanna has assisted in representing clients in federal and state courts and advised clients in investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, and state agencies. Her practice spans all industries, including high-tech industries; pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and health care; the chemical sector; and manufacturing.

Having practiced at two major international law firms, Zuzanna's antitrust work also has a distinctly global character. She has significant experience representing parties to large global M&A transactions, helping them navigate the complexities of multi-jurisdictional merger review while strategizing on how best to obtain timely antitrust clearance both in the U.S. and abroad. Having worked in Brussels, Zuzanna is also familiar with the workings of the European Commission and very much enjoys teaming up with her colleagues from across the pond to work on deals that involve multiple competition regulators.

Before joining Hogan Lovells, Zuzanna was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of a major international law firm. While attending the University of Virginia School of Law, she was editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law.
