Kevin is used to getting results for his clients through his technical and presentational skills and his understanding of how HMRC works. Kevin has been doing tax for over 30 years and has a broad experience combined with strength in depth. Over the years he has advised on all aspects of business tax (including tax disputes, transfer pricing, leasing, M&A, property, funds and insurance taxation.)

Kevin's practice is currently focused on funds taxation, real estate taxation and insurance taxation together with associated M&A. Career highlights include acting for HMRC in connection with a major transfer pricing dispute; acting for Lloyds Bank on the establishment of its global infrastructure funds; acting for Equitable Life Assurance Society in connection with its scheme of arrangement and related transactions; acting for Doughty Hanson on the establishment of its first four PE funds and its first real estate fund and its first technology fund; and acting for Texaco in connection with its lease financing arrangements in respect of the Captain Field.

Kevin's current clients include Prudential/ M&G Real Estate, Aberdeen Investment Managers, Threadneedle Asset Managers, The Depositary Trust and Clearance Corporation, Coal Pension Schemes, Mars Pension Schemes, Pantheon and  AXA.
