Kelvin is a Counsel of Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong office.

He is a real estate and finance lawyer who advises property investors, landlords and tenants/occupiers, property developers and financial institutions on property related transactions and financing including acquisition of residential and commercial properties for investment or redevelopment, project conveyancing involving residential, industrial and commercial properties, property joint ventures, acquisition of property holding companies, land exchange, lease modification, hotel management and construction finance.

Prior to his joining, Kelvin was an in-house legal counsel in BNP Paribas covering corporate banking.

Representative experience

Acting for a family office in the purchase of a residential land at approximately HK$550 million.

Acting for a multi-national trust fund of Citibank group as investor in the acquisition of an office building, a hotel and a service apartment building at approximately US$1.8 billion in Guangzhou, PRC.

Acting for an investor in the purchase of around 80-100 residential and commercial units in Mongkok for redevelopment and assisting the investor in restructuring and advising on issues relating to the redevelopment.

Acting for CITIC Bank in financing the purchase of MassMutual Tower by Evergrande at approximately HK$10 billion.

Acting for the major shareholder of Seng Heng Bank in the sale of the majority shareholding in Seng Heng Bank to ICBC at approximately HK$4.5 billion.
