Keith D. Larson

As head of the firm's Infrastructure, Energy, Resources, and Projects Practice Group for the Americas, Keith Larson focuses on the development and financing of energy infrastructure projects and strategic transactions in the oil and gas sector. He has counseled clients on power plant, pipeline, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG), and other midstream projects in more than 30 countries throughout the Americas, Africa, and Asia.

He is recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers Global, The Legal 500, and IFLR. Law360 named him a Project Finance MVP in 2012.

Keith has helped sponsors and LNG purchasers on over 15 LNG projects around the world, representing state-owned oil companies on important upstream and midstream commercial arrangements and financing transactions. He also represents lenders on large power plant project financings.

Prior to joining the firm, Keith was senior legal counsel at Royal Dutch Shell, based at its headquarters in The Hague.

Representative Experience

Lead lender counsel to Philippine commercial banks and affiliates of Prudential on the US$1bn GNPower Kauswagan power project in Mindanao.

Represented a national oil company on a US$1.5bn oil prepayment financing provided by ICBC, recognized as a "Deal of the Year".

Lead lender counsel to China Development Bank, Sinosure, and others on the US$1bn GNPower Mariveles power plant financing in Luzon, Philippines.

Advising Venture Global LNG, Inc. on the development of its Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG export projects in Louisiana.

Advised Dominion Resources on the formation of Blue Racer Midstream, a leading midstream joint venture in the Utica Shale.

Advised a national oil company on a production sharing agreement with a leading UK oil company.
