Katie B. Cooperman
Drawing from her experience in a broad range of commercial real estate and finance transactions, Katie Cooperman helps her clients craft practical solutions to complex problems.
Katie's practice focuses on all aspects of transactional real estate. She advises clients on the acquisition and development of commercial property, real estate secured financing, commercial leasing, construction contracts, and real estate aspects of corporate transactions. Katie also works with clients on renewable energy development and project finance transactions. Katie is actively engaged with the firm's pro bono practice and regularly advises Colorado nonprofits with respect to real estate issues.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Katie was an associate in the Chicago office of another international law firm where she focused on commercial real estate finance transactions, including balance sheet, syndicated, mezzanine, and securitized loans. While in law school, Katie served as the Executive Editor for the International Law Review.
