Katharina Bickel focuses on all aspects of patent law. She advises national and international clients on patent infringement proceedings, as well as nullity actions before the German Federal Patent Court and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office.
Besides her legal knowledge, Katharina has a remarkable understanding for complex technical issues and finds workable and satisfying solutions for her clients' interests. She is particularly experienced in the fields of telecommunications, mechanical engineering, electronics and automotive industry. Her practice also includes advising on trademark and unfair competition matters and intellectual property licensing and transactions.
During her legal traineeship Katharina worked for a U.S.-American law firm in San Francisco. Before joining Hogan Lovells as a lawyer she gained expertise working at a big German law firm in the field of intellectual property, advising national and international clients on aspects of IP litigation.
