Eleanor Kasper delivers practical solutions to her clients. She has hands-on experience navigating a range of legal challenges, from risk analysis to litigation to alternative dispute resolution. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Eleanor clerked for two federal judges and worked for an international law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, where she gained exposure to a diverse client base with varied legal needs.
Focusing on the construction and engineering sector, Eleanor combines legal know-how with an understanding of key industry mechanics. She represents clients involved in construction and design-related disputes, including conflicts over defects, change orders, and complex contract provisions. Eleanor's construction experience is broad, spanning ice cream facility deformities, nuclear power plant design flaws, and disputes over mountain-resort construction projects.
Eleanor also has a wealth of experience advising clients on various labor and employment-related issues in a variety of industries, including transportation, education, and hospitality. She walks employers through delicate legal situations, conducting internal investigations and providing compliance advice, and also leads clients through litigation and dispute resolution processes. She regularly represents clients in connection with state and federal employment laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity Act, in both class action and single-plaintiff lawsuits.
In addition, Eleanor has tremendous heart for her community. In Atlanta, Eleanor served on the Board of Directors of The African SOUP, an organization dedicated to educational reform in Uganda, and taught classes to students at the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency (ACSS). Currently, Eleanor is a member of the Junior League of Colorado Springs, through which she volunteers at local events supporting youth emerging from the foster care system.
