Niazi Kabalan is an international projects lawyer with experience in energy & natural resources projects in emerging and growth markets, with a particular focus on Africa, the Middle East, and the Eastern Mediterranean.
Niazi has extensive experience advising on and negotiating upstream oil & gas projects and M&A deals, gas sales agreements, LNG projects and pipeline transportation agreements, and advising on energy regulations in challenging jurisdictions. Niazi is dual qualified as a common-law solicitor and a civil law attorney.
Niazi is recognised as a legal expert in the energy sector by Euromoney Experts Guide 2018. Niazi has commented on legal and commercial issues in the energy sector in various publications such as the AIPN Newsletter and the Financial Times. Niazi has worked as a lawyer in London, Abu Dhabi and Beirut.
